JD 27 – inspired by 1920s wood-burning stoves
The popular JD 27 has been updated with a full hotplate for maximum sealing and improved functionality. You can enjoy the fire’s delightful glow through the glazed fireplace door. The hotplate is also available in ceramic glass.
The cast iron stove has a large baking oven with a ceiling covered in a 15 mm soapstone slab to maintain an even oven temperature and longer heat retention. If you fill the oven with a soapstone kit, it will hold heat for an entire night. Perfect for cold autumn and winter evenings and for those who want to reduce household energy consumption. You can connect the wood-burning stove to the chimney from the back or the top. The JD 27 is a CE-marked cast iron stove that meets current environmental requirements.
A beautiful cast iron stove for the kitchen
This newly manufactured wood-burning stove has a classic design and is equipped with the latest combustion technology. The cast iron stove is equipped with a new glass door and hotplate; you can install it in all kitchens and cabins. The frame is cast in Denmark, and all sheet metal parts are made locally. Skilled craftsmen do the assembly by hand in Reftele, in the Swedish province of Småland.
The JD 27 is a high-quality cast iron stove with doors that open and close smoothly with a spring lock. The new hotplate is designed for more efficient heat absorption and tighter combustion. You’ll also find a new convenient knob for regulating the outdoor air. We have refined the design, and now there are no visible screws on the top.
