JD 227 – a wood-burning stove for every home

Smart features that last for many years
The JD 227 is a cast iron stove equipped with a full stovetop for maximum heat intensity and functionality. The stovetop is also available in ceramic glass for extra cosiness. It has a large baking oven with a ceiling clad with a 15 mm soapstone slab that ensures an even oven temperature. Additionally, the soapstone provides longer heat retention, and if you fill the oven with a soapstone set, it will retain the heat for an entire night. Perfect for those who want to lower their energy costs and stay warm and cosy at home during cold months. The chimney connection is available at the back or top. The stove is CE-marked and meets today’s environmental requirements.You can also find a wide range of accessories in our shop, allowing you to enjoy your wood stove even more. There is also an option to add a leg stand to place the stove directly on the floor. You can adjust it to three different heights – 85 cm, 87.5 cm, or 90 cm.
Solid quality and Swedish craftsmanship
At Josef Davidssons, we are proud to offer wood-burning stoves of the highest quality, which incorporate the latest combustion technology. The frame is cast in Denmark, and all sheet metal parts are manufactured locally, with assembly done by experienced craftsmen in Reftele, Sweden.
We have designed the new cooktop plate on the JD 227 to be more efficient for heat absorption. It also have more intense combustion. A new feature is a convenient knob for regulating the outside air. There are now no visible screws on top. The oven door opens downward on this stove, similar to older stoves from this generation.
