Do you want a damper for your chimney, but don’t want to or can’t build and rebuild the chimney? Then an ideal damper could be for you. An ideal damper differs from other dampers in that it can be installed in an existing chimney. Other dampers need to be bricked in at the same time as you build the chimney. The damper also has a cover that helps to protect against collapse in the chimney channel, such as old mortar or tar getting in the way. Galvanised, not stainless steel.
