Clay with iron filings is used as insulation for the stove’s roof and acts as protection against fire. Keep in mind that it needs to be replaced and cleaned at regular intervals, especially on older stoves and if you use the stove often. Suitable for smaller stoves such as Husqvarna 26 or Norrahammar 26.
